Who is she? I want to watch some videos of her screaming...
she is very foolish teaching people to temporarily dame the throat for this sound, ok you may get the sound doing that but with no stamina in the voice and you will regularly become hoarse and could potentially ruin your chances at having any sort of music career. please ignore this video and others like it. I am going to comment on every one of these videos I find if they are giving this sort of bad advice. I say this to everyone who wants to learn "get melissa cross's zen of screaming dvd's" she is a professional vocal coach for this type of vocals and teaches the CORRECT way to do this without damaging your vocal chords!
yea dude but r there any other dvds?i asked anders colsefini and he reccomended that dvd he says for his high screams he uses his upper sinuses and idk i have a deep voice like his but im 13 so um check out my youtube vid ima post another cover soon my username is zakthehak and make sure to watch, yess im really 13 and plze just give me any rock lesson video reccomendations that u can, thnx plze send me a message and add on utube nd just send me the videos or names there thnx
The DVD I got of melissa cross only covered warm ups. She never really explained how you actually scream. And she has a very peculiar sound to her scream. A lot of people get the wrong idea from those DVDs and hurt themselves
damage*
wow you're the first fit girl i've seen who likes that kind of music
1. Damaging your vox, NEVER ok. There is no such thing as "temporary damage" If you need something acidic to do you scream you need some work. 2. Screaming is ALL about vocal chords! Your diaphragm makes no sound. It's HOW you use your vocal chords that matters. 3. When posting a vid about screaming you may want to actually scream in it so people know you know what your talking about. No offense to you but, when you talk about stuff like this you have to know your right, otherwise you could be responsible for poor hardcore kids ripping up their throats.
